Hans Henrik Lund has been appointed CEO for Nilfisk. He takes over from Lars Gjødsbøl, acting CEO and Head of Global Operations at Nilfisk.
Chairman of the board of directors, Jens Due Olsen, says the appointment of Lund as CEO means Nilfisk now has the right profile to develop and grow.
“With the appointment of Hans Henrik Lund as the new CEO of Nilfisk, we have the right profile to lead the business as an independently listed company and to execute on our overall strategy of further consolidating our position as a world leader in the professional cleaning equipment industry,” he said.
Lund has held several leadership positions in global companies during the past 25 years. He has worked with Danfoss for 10 years in the field of heating automation and another 10 years leading mobile accessory companies Jabra and Nokia Gear.
“I am both honoured and excited to be the next CEO for Nilfisk,” said Lund. “It is a privilege to become part of an organisation that for the past 111 years has been committed to developing high quality solutions and products. I see great potential in the organisation and look forward to meeting our valued customers around the world.”
Lund holds an M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, a Ph.D in Material Science and an MBA in Organisation and Business Management. He comes from a position as CEO of the Finnish lighting company Helvar.
