Energy efficiency, smart design and the future of work will be the focus at Australia’s leading showcase of high-performing facilities, and intelligent living and work spaces, Total Facilities 2019.

Total Facilities is Australia’s most important event for facility management and in 2019 the show will explore all that goes into developing ‘Environments of Excellence’.

It will bring together professionals and innovative businesses over two days to discover the latest and smartest ways our built environment can help us realise our full potential.

Total Facilities 2019 boasts an impressive line-up of speakers, partners and exhibitors. Renowned experts, academics and thought-leaders will share how the use of technology and data is transforming the way buildings are built and operated to create a future of smart, connected buildings that use insights to enhance their environments.

Workplace expert, Libby Sander’s keynote will be a highlight of the speaker series. Sander will look at leading edge practices, with insights and practical examples from the newest workplaces of Google, Twitter and Boston Consulting Groups in New York; as well as discussion of trends in smart devices in the workplace, the impact of AI and data monitoring on the workplace, the impact of design in changing patterns of work and the effects of contingent work in the sharing economy and more.

Industry experts represented across the 2019 Speaker Series program at includes the likes of Catherine Caruana McManus, director at Meshed IoT ; Tony Arnel, global director sustainability at NDY; Tica Hessing, human geographer & tenant advisor at Cushman & Wakefield; Professor Stuart White, director institute of Sustainable Futures at University of Technology Sydney and many more.

In addition, CoreNet Global Australia Chapter will return to Total Facilities 2019 to host a Leadership Breakfast on Thursday 21st March. This ‘State of the Nation’ will be presented by Nerida Conisbee, chief economist at REA Group.
