ISS appoints former Adidas executive as global head of sustainability.

ISS has appointed former Adidas executive Tracy Nilsson as global head of sustainability.

Nilsson, who joins ISS from Adidas where she has held a position as senior director, global environment, will commence her role from 1 January 2022.

Previously, Nilsson has held leading sustainability roles with Lululemon, ThinkStep, and IKEA. She is also steering committee member at the United Nation Fashion Industry Charter for Climate.

“Tracy has a solid track record of improving the sustainability agenda substantially in the organisations she has worked for. I am confident she will also play a vital and positive role at ISS, as we strengthen our sustainability profile and offerings further in the years to come,” said Troels Bjerg, Group COO at ISS.

“We are fully committed to carrying out our operations and delivering our services in a sustainable way. It’s our societal responsibility, our license to operate and ultimately the key driver for success and future growth.”

Nilsson has previously developed and executed global sustainability strategies, visions and plans for global brands that successfully connect business strategies and performance demands with sustainability concepts to improve and drive positive impact on business and society.

Nilsson has lived and worked in Asia, Europe and North America. Currently she is based in Hong Kong, but she will now relocate to Copenhagen.
