BSCNZ appoints new CEO

Building Service Contractors of New Zealand (BSCNZ) hires former Tork executive as chief.

The Building Service Contractors of New Zealand (BSCNZ) has appointed former Tork executive Sarah McBride as the association’s new CEO.

McBride holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in marketing and advertising and has previously worked across a number of industries including retail, manufacturing, importing and distribution.

McBride has been in the hygiene industry for the past three years with Tork Professional Hygiene.

McBride said through her experience within a variety of roles and sectors she has learnt the value of effective administration and communication.

“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to continue to work with everyone in this industry and assist in developing our commitment to quality and education. To continue the synergy and momentum towards a brighter future for the cleaning industry of New Zealand,” McBride said.

BSCNZ president Paul Emery said: “We are confident that Sarah’s experience in business administration will be a big asset in the running the BSCNZ office. We were particularly impressed by the energy Sarah brings to the role, especially in marketing and promoting the BSCNZ as the voice of the industry.

“We look forward to Sarah’s input in growing the membership and using her considerable communication skills to continue to promote the BSCNZ as a reputable body and the only trade organisation representing the cleaning industry,” Emery said.
