Kimberly-Clark names new CFO

Kimberly-Clark Corp appoints former Mondelēz International executive.

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has appointed Nelson Urdaneta chief financial officer (CFO), effective April 22.

Urdaneta joins Kimberly-Clark from Mondelēz International, where he held a variety of financial leadership positions throughout his 17-year tenure, most recently serving as senior vice president and treasurer.

He succeeds Maria Henry, who has decided to retire from the company. Henry has been with Kimberly-Clark since 2015, when she joined the company as CFO.

“Nelson brings to Kimberly-Clark strong global and operational leadership as well as breadth of experience across all financial disciplines,” said Mike Hsu, Kimberly-Clark chairman and CEO.
