FMANZ announces 2022 awards finalists

FMANZ receives record number of entries and introduces new sustainability award.

The finalists in the 2022 FMANZ Awards have been announced, with the Facilities Management Association celebrating a record number of entries.

FMANZ’s annual awards recognise and celebrate excellence within the facilities management industry in New Zealand.

This year saw the addition of a new award category for Sustainability and Environmental Impact, which received a large number of entries, showcasing a variety of sustainability initiatives, from social enterprise to environmental stewardship.

Awards committee chair John Hutchings, said the FMANZ Awards have grown from strength to strength.

“This year we received a record number of entries across our five award categories, almost double previous years and far surpassing last year’s record,” Hutchings said.

“The quality of the entries was high, with increased use of supporting information which really showcases the initiatives to our judges. Congratulations to our shortlisted nominees and to everyone who entered. Shortlisting 15 entries was tough and a testament to the number of quality entries.”
