WFBSC announces global executive summit roster of speakers

The event will take place 14 – 15 March 2023 in conjunction with the London Cleaning Show.

The World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) confirmed its lineup of speakers for the Global Executive Summit (GES), 14 – 15 March 2023 in London, England, in conjunction with the London Cleaning Show.

The 2023 event features one day of sessions covering topics including executive leadership during times of uncertainty and ESG/sustainability, specific to the contract cleaning and facility maintenance industry.

The format of the program will include a mix of lectures, case study exercises, panels and networking events featuring experts, academics, industry CEOs and customer perspectives.

Leading a session titled Using Technology as an Enabler of Reaching ESG and Net-zero Goals, Peter Ankerstjerne, MBA, COP, IFMA Fellow, holds more than 30 years of experience covering most aspects of FM, service management, outsourcing, marketing and strategy.

Ankerstjerne developed the integrated facility services model during his time as chief marketing officer at ISS, in addition to work at Wework and JLL.

He currently holds the role of chief strategy officer at Planon.

Professor Robert Holdway, FRSA, FIEMA will lead Innovation, Culture and Environmental and Social Governance at GES 2023.

Holdway is a leading specialist in innovation, management and sustainability across various sectors, including electronics, pharmaceuticals, packaging and the built environment.

Holdway is currently a founder of and trainer at Mindset Go, where he works on Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental and Social Governance projects.

Professor Jonathan Trevor, Oxford Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and founder and managing director of The Praxis Network, will head a session titled Strategic Realignment to Overcome Disruption and Improve Business Performance.

Trevor is an associate professor of management practice at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and teaches on the Oxford MBA, Executive MBA and international executive education programs. He consults extensively with executive leadership teams in all sectors and publishes extensively.

In addition to expert-led educational sessions, GES 2023 provides those in attendance with the opportunity to engage in more one-on-one discussions, exchange ideas and knowledge share with their international counterparts.

“The 2023 event is designed to meet the unique needs of executive leaders in global BSC firms,” said Doug Cooke, 2023 GES Chair and Chairman of UK-based Principle Cleaning Services.

“The format, speaker selection, and session types all deliberately allow for maximum impact and engagement amongst attendees.

Attendance for this event is limited to the first 75 qualified participants.
