Kimberly-Clark releases 2022 Sustainability Report

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has published its 2022 Global Sustainability Progress Report.

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has published its 2022 Global Sustainability Progress Report.

The report, 150 Years of Better Care for a Better World, detail’s the hand hygiene and contamination control company’s progress in achieving its 2030 sustainability goals and outlines its achievements over the past 12 months.

Kimberly-Clark’s climate action achievements include reaching an absolute reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 42 percent and a 9.4 percent energy efficiency improvement versus the 2015 baseline.

The company also reduced water consumption by 42.1 percent and reached 5.1 percent of recycled content in its plastic packaging.

“I’m proud of what our teams around the world have accomplished in the last year and to be part of a company that has never wavered in providing care for our people, our communities, and our planet since it was founded 150 years ago,” said Mike Hsu, Kimberly-Clark CEO and chairman. “Our 2030 sustainability goals are critical to our purpose of Better Care for a Better World, and our sights are set on achieving them.”
